Update on Cupid
Leaving the veterinary office without our sweet boy!
💔
We were able to get Cupid into the vet first thing this morning. They didn’t like the sound of his breathing so chest X-rays were our first start, X-rays came back clean however the image of his nasal cavity came back with a large tumor/mass blocking him from breathing.
The vet diagnosed him with adenocarcinoma unfortunately. This form of cancer can be treated if caught early however with the mass as large as it was and some vital organs beginning to shut down from being so underweight for so long, his prognosis was very poor.
We are so sad to say goodbye to our sweet sweet boy. We spent a lot of time with him, gave him chicken and chocolate and he ate it very happily with breaks in between for breathing! Thank you to EVERYONE who helped out with this boy, your efforts don’t go unnoticed.
This was an extremely tough decision for us but with the veterinarians strong recommendation we thought the bravest thing we could do for him was to finally give him what nobody else could…. Peace
We love you Cupid. This short time we got to know you, you are a beautiful soul and we will always carry you in our hearts
